James serves as a Minister at Heirs Christian Center Church, exemplifying his deep commitment to faith and community. As a devoted husband, father, and grandfather, he has cherished over 28 years of marriage with his beloved Queen, Jeannett. A proud 23-year veteran of both the United States Air Force and Marine Corps, he has been honored with ‘The Airman’s Medal’ for his courageous heroism.

With over 30 years of expertise in Higher Education, Leadership, and Instruction, he champions the development of others. 

As the Operational Director of J2 Business Essentials LLC, he drives innovation and growth. James plays a vital role as VP of Operations of the non-profit Peace4Poverty NG50, an official re-entry program designed for the Mecklenburg Detention Center and community entrepreneurship. His extensive experience in recruitment and personal development enriches his mission. 

Having led as College President at three esteemed institutions—ITT Technical Institute, Virginia College, and Miller Motte—he inspires countless students.

As the author of five personal development books and an inspirational speaker, James spreads knowledge and motivation.

He earned his Doctorate in Transformational Leadership from Concordia University, fueled by a passion for empowering individuals to transition effectively from the classroom to the workforce and entrepreneurship.
